The Perno three-light flush mount in Aged Iron by Chapman and Myers was inspired by a vintage mid-century French sconce with a simple metal armature. The minimal cruciform structure of the metal frame is the main feature of the design. The frame outlines and supports the inner cylindrical shade. All of the assembly hardware for installing the inner shade was engineered to be hidden in order to maintain the clean and simple aesthetic of the light.
